Ready, Action, Go~~~! Get ready with Photoshop
Have you ever edit pictures/photos with the same setting? I know the feeling can be frustrating when you are editing 1000 pictures one after another, this can be your worst nightmare.
Unless you have a lot of time to kill, otherwise you are wasting your time on editing one a time. Don’t worry! Adobe Photoshop is here to your rescue providing you with a time-saving, effortless and efficient solution to your problem by using “Automate” and “Action” function.
Step 1: Collate all the pictures or photos into a folder
Step 2: Open any picture from the folder. Press “Alt”+F9 to show “Action”.
Step 3: Click on “Create new action”, enter the Action name and set the function key (if you need to).
Step 4: Press the stop button after Photoshop have recorded all of your actions.
Step 5: Open all the files you want to edit, then go to “Automate” > “Batch”.
Step 6: Select the Action you created just now and select Source as “Opened Files”. In this article, I chose “Tweakast” as my action. Click on “OK”. Tada! It’s all done with the same setting.
Batch function in Photoshop is useful for photographers, it allows them not only to apply actions to their photos and they can also use it to change their file naming convention.
Next time, if you have 1000 photos or pictures to edit. Think of Photoshop Batch function, it probably can save you a lot of time and effort.
